Introduction
Wanted to use LMMS like a pro in 2022? Here’s what I do about it.

1. Use “Kicker” for Sub Bass
Kicker can be used for SubBass and Drop Bass sounds. Below are examples of how I’ve achieved this!

2. Don’t use Stock Sounds!
Don’t use the stock sounds, they don’t sound nearly as good.

3. Use White Noise FX
This is very simple. Add motion to your sound by using Triple Oscillator and setting it to “noise” (BELOW):
Add some reverb for more atmosphere!
And then filter it with the Low Pass filter:
And use Automation!
4. Don’t Use Just Stock Sounds!
Stock sounds aren’t bad, but you need to use more real instruments.
The lightest on your CPU for “real” instruments, is the SF2 Player plugin.

5. DON’T MAKE IT LOUD!
Here’s what you don’t want to do, you don’t want to CLIP your sound.
This is easy to do with LMMS because it starts every track way too loud.
