✨ Notion AI (Artificial Intelligence)
Recently, Notion announced that they were starting “Notion AI” which launched as an alpha program for people to try. I signed up immediately when I found out about it (back in the middle of December) and I just got an email today that I got access to Notion’s AI. Note: I did not use AI to write anything except for what is dictated in the article in red. I plan on extensively using this feature in the future to test it out and give my feedback to the Notion team.
⚙️ Getting Access/Setting Up
Today (02/01/23), I got an email from Notion saying that I got access to Notion AI.
When I opened up Notion today, I was first presented with this screen.
You can also go to “Settings & Members” and then click “settings” and then check Notion AI.
🗞️ What’s New?
I immediately noticed the following new options:
“Space for AI”
Now, instead of just seeing “/for commands”, I now have more options. I can now hit “space for AI”.
When I hit space, I’m presented with a bunch more options: Continue Writing (write with AI, Summarize, Find Action Items, Translate, Explain this, Improve Writing, Fix Spelling & Grammar, Make Longer, Make Shorter, and Use Simpler Language.
Ask Notion to Make my Writing better
I can now select text or highlight a block, and ask Notion to analyze what I wrote and make it better.
This will be extremely useful in the future to correct my grammar or spelling (especially since Notion previously didn’t have a great auto-correct function).

I'm excited to have access to Notion AI, an AI-powered platform that promises to help businesses do more with their data. Forget ChatGPT… This will be Game Changing

ChatGPT is a natural language processing (NLP) system that can generate responses to user input. It is a powerful tool, but Notion AI is something entirely different. Notion AI is an AI-powered platform that can help businesses do more with their data. It provides insights into data, automates tasks, and opens up new opportunities. It's not just a chatbot, but a platform that can do far more than ChatGPT can. It is a game changer in the way businesses use AI to analyze and automate their data.
